Nadalia Bagratuni presents a different type of paranormal genre in Behold, My Teacher's Pet, the first book in a new series. The book is comprised of short stories and must be read carefully as one story links to the next. Just when you think you have figured out something another twist is revealed. This is a hard book to put down. The story kept me guessing until the very end. This particular tale involves Dr. Mary Powers and her unusual abilities. She is an English professor about to embark on a different life as well as career path. What happens to her threads the whole book together and keeps the reader in suspense until the very last page. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this well-written, exciting new series.
